Happy Anniversary Story Wolf!

"Ahh~, this is the life." said the black beak platypus as he lounged in a pool on a floatable wearing sunglasses while his goggles were still on his head. It was an unusually warm March day, absolutely perfect for swimming or, in this case, lazying about. But any day was a good lazy day for "Beaky" Beakerson of the Genesis: New Company. And it was good too, after so long battling the Exus Army, he, and by default everyone, could use the break.

"Nothing could ruin this day." said Beaky as he relaxed in his inner-tube basking in the sunlight. Unfortunately for him, that day was about to be ruin.

"Hey~, Beaky!"

***BBZZT***

"Ye-ye-ye-yah!" Beaky quickly fell from his inner-tube as he was given a light shock from the ever annoying Dan Kuso from the Former Station Square: Renegades as he snickered at his prank. Beaky quickly resurfaced grabbing the edge of the pool glaring at the electric wolf. "You asshole."

"That's for last week buddy." smiled Dan as he offered a hand to the platypus. Beaky smirked and accepted the hand as he and Dan lifted himself out of the pool.

"Now then." said the platypus as he grabbed the wolf and got him into a head lock speaking to the wolf sarcastically. "Why have you decided to grace myself with you're presence."

"We're planning to throw Story a party." Beaky released the young wolf as he heard a new voice enter. He quickly turned to see Emily Kuso, Dan's younger adopted sister, and looked at the girl surprised.

"I'm listening." said Beaky as he smirked liking the idea that Emily had spoken of. Meanwhile Dan dusted himself off a bit turning to his looking sad.

"Aw~, I wanted to say that." whined the wolf to the hedgehog causing Emily to give Dan in uncaring glare as she looked at him.

"Fine then, you tell him."

"Ah aah, not until we find Caprice."

"Caprice?"

"That little bundle of insane joy in the form of a nine year old blue fox." said Dan as he put his hand out at a certain height imagining said fox.

"Oh yeah." said Beaky somewhat disdainfully, but knowing full well that the young fox was just.....Caprice. "I haven't seen her at all today."

"Same as us." stated Emily bit worried for the blue fox child.

"Then I'll just have to use my awesome senses to find her." Beaky and Emily sweat-dropped listening to the wolf's self-praise finding it more annoying then helpful. Finished with his showcasing, Dan the formed his wings preparing to take flight. "I'll be in the skies."

"I'll search for her through the Aura."

"And I'll just walk around, like any normal person."

"Haha! You're not normal." commented Dan with a hearty laugh then taking to the skies looking for the little blue fox.

"Ugh, what a ham." snickered the platypus as he dried himself off preparing to search for Caprice.

"At least you don't have to live with him." stated Emily getting a sympathetic look from Beaky.

"You have my condolences." stated the platypus as he began to leave the pool area with one simple thought in his head."I wonder where that little fox went to this time?"

"Hello?" said a small, happy blue fox as she stood behind the gunmen patiently. Emily quickly noticed, the young blue fox and was about to tell Beaky until she was interrupted.

"Not now Caprice, I'm looking for Caprice." said Beaky absentmindedly as he brushed pass the fox as she looked confusedly at the brown monotreme as he left the pool area. Meanwhile Emily slapped her face in annoyance, having not believed that Beaky just missed the target. It was a few minutes later, Caprice being a good little girl the whole time waiting for monotreme and Emily watching her, Beaky cam rushing back as he finally realized who was there. "Caprice!"

"About time." said Emily dryly.

"Hi Beaky! Have you seen Dan?" said the little girl tilting her head cutely causing Beaky to sweat-drop a second time.

Some time later...

"I still don't see why you had to shoot at me!?!" shouted Dan as he was slightly freaked as he sat with Beaky and Caprice back at the monotreme's pool.

"If you don't answer the communicator, then I'm going to do something drastic." stated Beaky in defense acting coolly as Caprice listened on with a juice box in her hand her hand jotting between the two. "Besides if I wanted to hit you, you'd be dead."

"Ha! Nothing can kill me!" stated Dan as he stood and beat his chest proudly causing Beaky to face-palm and Caprice to giggle a bit.

"Let's get on to business then." stated Emily as she ended any argument that could form from her cocky step-brother's phrase.

"Alright then, so what this about Story?" Getting straight ti the point, Beaky and Caprice looked at Dan and Emily as they sat back in their chairs.

"Well if you haven't heard, today is Story's first anniversary on deviantArt." Both Beaky and Caprice looked at Emily in surprised as the hedgehog continued to explain the party idea. "And we, my brother and I, want to throw a party for her."

"That sounds cool!" said Caprice with a twinkle in her eyes as she sat on the edge of her seat while Beaky nodded his head with a smile.

"Sounds interesting." commented Beaky actually finding the wolf's idea good. "And you want us to help throw it for her?"

"Uh? I was just gonna invite you two." Beaky deadpanned hearing that he was just merely a guestby the self-righteous wolf while that bit of information flew over Caprice, still excited for the party. "But if you want to help, you can."

"Oh really!?" said Caprice hopefully as she ran Dan's side with a big smile. "I want to bake the cake!"

"Of course." smiled Emily as he patted the young girl's head causing to giggle happily. Meanwhile, Dan looked over to Beaky as he waited to be address.

"And Beaky you can distract Story."

"Hmmm." Hearing what Dan had wanted him to do, Beaky thought over the idea as it sounded fun to try some new "techniques" on the unsuspecting wolf. "Fine, I'll do it."

"Yes!" cheered Caprice and Dan hearing that Beaky would help while Emily nodded in acceptance.

"Just make sure everything is ready when she gets there." stated Beaky as he stood up and began walking off ready to do his job.

"Oh! We're having it at her dA studio in an hour!" added Dan before Beaky got to far. Beaky gave the two a wave a he turned the corner smirking deviously ready to have some fun. Seeing that Beaky had heard him, he turned to Caprice as she waited in anticipation. "Alright! Let's get to work!"

"Yeah!"

"Let's be off then."

An hour or so later...

"Alright everything's ready." smirked Dan proudly as he looked over his, his step-sister, and Caprice's work in Story's studio. He was lucky that Story hadn't been working on anything recently making it easier to set all the party goods and materials. As he looked over the studio on last time, he was amused as Caprice placed the finished cake. It was wonderfully made looking like old Sonic the Hedgehog icon with a small banner saying "Happy Anniversary Story!"

"Do you think she'll like it?" asked Caprice innocently as she looked at Dan. Hearing the question, Dan chuckled finding the question ridiculous, but innocent.

"Of course, I'm a Master Planner of All Things Great!" laughed Dan boastfully though Caprice ignored it as she ran over to the window looking a bit worried.

"I wonder what's taking Beaky so long?" asked Emily as she followed Caprice to the window looking outside. Meanwhile her step-brother spoke smugly.

"I'm sure he's on his way right now with Story-"

"You Are So Dead Beakerson!" Dan was quickly interrupted as everyone heard the furious roar of the anniversary girl. Immediately, the party planners ran to the window seeing what was going on. Turning the corner, snickering all the way, Beaky finally showed himself as he sign post came hurdling down the street. Running as fast as he can, Beaky ran towards the studio building right as Story Wolf, currently pissed off and her psychic ability on full display, glaring at the monotreme. "Come Back Here So I Can Tear You A New One!"

"Ah aah! Not today Little Big Bad." said Beaky mockingly as he stuck his tongue out before entering the building. Immediately, Story ran at full speed chasing after the soon-to-be-dead monotreme.

"Jeez, I said bring her here. Not bring her here wanting blood." sweat-dropped Emily as the situation seem to have suddenly gone out of control.

"Should we help him?" asked Caprice as she looked at Dan curiously not sure what to do.

"The best thing now is to-"

***BANG BANG BANG BANG***

"Let Me In! Let Me In!" All planners jumped hearing the frantic knocking of Beaky sounding like he was about to die.

"Hey! What Are You Doing At My Studio!" Following behind Beaky's voice, the furious voice of Story could be heard from down the hall that was in front of Story's studio.

"Let Me In Now!" Hearing Beaky's pleading and Story almost here, Emily, Dan, and Caprice quickly got to their spots next to the door, Dan readying to open the door.

"You're Mine Now!"

"Ahhhhh!" Feeling that Beaky has been torched enough, Dan opened the door allowing Beaky to fall to the floor while Story flew by having tired to send a kick to Beaky. Story quickly landed and turned around ready to try and strike the monotreme again.

"You're so-"

"Surprise!" Story was immediately taken back as she was suddenly greeted with streamers from Emily, Dan, and Caprice while all, including Beaky lying on his stomach holding his head up smiling, shouted cheerfully at her. "Happy Anniversary Story Wolf!"

"What?.......What's going on?" gasped Story as she looked on all three in confusion and shock.

"We're celebrating you're one year anniversary here a deviantArt!" said Dan with a cheerful smile as he approached the bewildered wolf.

"R-Really!?"

"Yep! We all wanted to show our support for you!" added Caprice as she grabbed the female wolf's hands showing her gleeful face to Story.

"W-Wait! All of you."

"Of course." said Emily with a soft smile also approaching the wolf.

"Yeah, even I had a hand in it." smirked Beaky as he stood back up brushing the dust off his person. Story just looked shocked at the monotreme having not only five minutes go had threatened to stuff his goggles down his throat. "And no, you don't have to apologize."

"I can't believe it." whispered Story as she started to tear up feeling so happy about what her friends have done for her. She then gave a big hug for Emily, Caprice, and Dan, shocking the electric wolf while pleasing the young fox. "Thank you. Thank you so much."

"No prob." smirked Dan as he returned the hug. "I'm great at throwing parties for friends."

"I'm soooooo~ glad that you're liked it!" cheered Caprice as she also hugged back the wolf.

"You're welcome." spoke Emily feeling the warmth of the group. Meanwhile Beaky just stood to the side as he watched the love fest before him.

"Hey now." Breaking the moment, the three looked back at the monotreme as he held a camera. "How about a picture."

"That would nice." said Story with a smile as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Yeah!" cheered Dan and Caprice as they two walked past Beaky as he went to set up the camera with Story following behind. However, before Story walked pass Beaky, she gave the monotreme a quick hug greatly surprising the him.

"Thank you." whispered Story as she then released Beaky and continued to her spot in the picture-to-be. Beaky gave a small smile and continued on his duty giving the camera to Dan.

"Wait? What!"

"Don't mess up." smirked Beaky as he quickly ran back to the group taking his spot waiting for Dan to take the picture.

"What did you do to get Story so mad?" asked Emily quietly as he didn't want Story to become aggressive again. Hearing the electric wolf's question, Beaky chuckled and smirked as he leaned in to t tell the wolf.

"Let's just say, that her new nickname from me is 'Little Big Bad'." Emily looked confusedly at Beaky still not actually sure what he was talking about, but quickly smiled as she saw the light shine signifying that the picture was about to be taken.

"Say Llama!" smirked Dan.

"Llama!"
